Everyone loves baking Valentine's Day treats! (Even if you just make them to take pictures for the insta, guilty.) I found a plain sugar cookie recipe and altered it a little bit to make my own creation.  Just like my niece tells me when she's talking about dance class. "Just listen to what the teacher tells you and then freestyle."   Sugar Cookies with White Chocolate Chips Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup (2 sticks)  SALTED butter, softened 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 egg and 1 yolk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract white chocolate chips pink or red food coloring 1/4 cup granulated sugar, for rolling Directions: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
