Spring 2017 Fashion and Beauty Essentials - Nuxe, YSL, Chanel...

Image
Hello everyone, spring is finally here! I thought I'd give you a little peek into some of my essentials now that we are transitioning to warmer weather and more sunshine! I'm not going to touch on everything in this post but if you have questions  PLEASE  feel free to comment or send me a message and I will gladly get back to you. Spring 2017 Essentials by hannahgomez featuring eyes swimwear I've recently been using some rose body scrub that I absolutely love, I also got the body butter as well I just didn't put it on here. The scent of a rose body scrub is so great to me, I've been obsessed the past couple weeks.  The next thing I want to talk about is the Nuxe Huile Prodiguese, this is something I came across in 2014 when I was in staying in France. I have loved it ever since then. The scent is light, I'm not sure how to explain it. It doesn't have a scent I can pick out, it's very natural and not offensive if you're weary of sce...

Day to Night Makeup Transition: Vegas Edition

Image
Vegas is such a fun vacationing spot with so many things to do. I went to Vegas during spring break one year and I was constantly going somewhere or doing some fun activity. During the day we would go shopping, find fun eats and one day even took a limo to the Hoover Dam! At night we would dine and go to shows and magic performances or concerts.  You with so many things to do it can be hard to choose. If you go on Vegas.com  and check out their attractions and tours it'll help you plan out your trip and score you some awesome package deals ! People go to Vegas for either gambling or shows, I'm the kind of person who really enjoys the shows and other performances. My favorite part of Vegas was seeing Blue Man Group, I really wish I could have seen Cirque du Soleil as well. For my daily travels and touristy ventures, I chose a natural, glowy look. I don't like to wear too much makeup during the day. Inspiring my day-time look: I like to have some natural...

Favorite Summer Fragrances 2015

Image
Favorite Summer Fragrances 2015 by hannahgomez featuring Dolce&Gabbana Hello lovelies,  I am really enjoying blogging again! I know my posts might not be up to par like they were when I was really into blogging but I feel like I am getting back into the groove, slowly. What posts would you like to see? I don't really get a lot of feedback so I just kind of do what I think you might like. As for today I'll be talking about summer fragrances because that's what I've been looking into for myself lately.  I have some of these fragrances but not all of them but I have at least had a sample of them so I'm not solely going off of a description I found online. I could have added ones that I don't know much about but I like to be able to give you my honest opinion from my experience. Below I have links to places where you can get all of the fragrances so I'll just go in order of the links below. There are two that don't have links so I'll ...

Swimsuit Wish List Summer 2015

Image
Swimsuit Wish List 2015 by hannahgomez featuring see through swimwear Summer has arrived, gone are the days of the frigid cold! As some of you know I live in Oklahoma which has equally bipolar weather as compared to Texas. Also, in Oklahoma this year it rained and stormed for basically the whole month of May and beginning of June and there were so many tornadoes I can't even count how many there were. It was a depressing month to say the least. Not to say that I'm depressed but continual bad weather can take a toll on your emotional state.   However, the sun is out now and that makes me happy! I haven't gone swimsuit shopping yet, even though I am in dire need of swimsuits. I have being doing some online research about what swimsuits I would like to get and which ones would fit me best. I have an athletic body but my bra size is a 32-34DD which makes is very difficult to find tops that fit me well. The halter tops and crop tops I know will fit my body well. ...

Merry Christmas!

Image
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holidays. I went to the mall yesterday, (the day before Christmas Eve) and it was CRAZY! There were people everywhere. I didn't know why I thought it could be a quick mall trip. It took like 4 hours and all I really did was go to the Jo Malone Counter and into the Lush store.  I've been hearing a lot about the Jo Malone fragrances so I thought I'd get myself one for Christmas. I ended up getting the Peony and Blush Suede Cologne which is a floral scent. If you read my blog regularly, you know florals are my thing (Yes, even in the winter.) Do you have any Jo Malone fragrances? I had a hard time choosing which cologne I was going to get. The idea with the Jo Malone fragrances are that you can layer them, which is amazing and a little addicting. I only bought one cologne but I'm sure I'll end up getting another one sometime soon. There are two different sizes a 1 oz. which is $60 a...

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Image
So I just took my last final exam yesterday which means, this semester is finally over! Although I hated business calculus II, it was a really good semester I have to say. I couldn't complain about any of it. I also have an awesome roommate which makes things a lot better. Well actually, it's not a dorm or anything, we live in an apartment together and have our own rooms. Anyway, she's a lot like me, studying the majority of the time and definitely easy to get along with. Now that the semester is over and I haven't been shopping in a while, I thought I'd buy myself a little present. I usually call it shop therapy, when I just need to relieve myself of stress and wander around a shop and spend way too much money but this time I knew exactly what I was shopping for, no wandering. Of course you probably already read the title; I bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I've always heard people raving about these naked palettes but I didn't understand bec...

Chanel lipstick no. 99 Pirate

I am aware I haven't posted since October…oops. I didn't forget about you, I promise. Here it is, my first post of November. I am back and ready to get some good posts out for you all! If you have suggestions for posts that would help me out a lot! I'd love to hear what you have to say:) Recently, I went to a Chanel counter not looking for anything specific just felt like splurging on some high end makeup. Since I really didn't know what I wanted one of the ladies at the counter insisted she give me a mini makeover. It was a little more than a mini makeover though, I sat in her chair for an hour and a half while she played with makeup and showed me some of their skincare products. We ended up doing a dramatic look with a smoky eye and a red lip. It was actually the first time I've ever gotten my makeup done. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally saw my complete look. I've not put near that much makeup on in a long time to be honest. My makeup loo...

Manicure Monday: Emerald Green

Image
I've been quite sick so I've had to stay in and just hope to get better soon. So while I was bored last night, I painted my nails this gorgeous jewel tone green. Although, I don't think the camera does it justice. I never thought I would be wearing green nail polish but there's just something about this color green that makes it seem non childish, more grown up and wearable. It's actually like a jade/emerald green. I didn't do a top coat so this is just two coats of the polish alone. I think I'll be buying more green polishes this fall/winter.  How do you feel about colors like these? Let me know in the comments section below! Posh by Revlon Of course these are simply my opinions, I will not be offended by anyone who disagrees with anything I say here on my blog. I love to hear what everyone has to say no matter what, of course still be nice.:) If you have any questions, comments or suggestions you know where to leave them:) Subscribe ...
