Merry Christmas!

Image
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holidays. I went to the mall yesterday, (the day before Christmas Eve) and it was CRAZY! There were people everywhere. I didn't know why I thought it could be a quick mall trip. It took like 4 hours and all I really did was go to the Jo Malone Counter and into the Lush store.  I've been hearing a lot about the Jo Malone fragrances so I thought I'd get myself one for Christmas. I ended up getting the Peony and Blush Suede Cologne which is a floral scent. If you read my blog regularly, you know florals are my thing (Yes, even in the winter.) Do you have any Jo Malone fragrances? I had a hard time choosing which cologne I was going to get. The idea with the Jo Malone fragrances are that you can layer them, which is amazing and a little addicting. I only bought one cologne but I'm sure I'll end up getting another one sometime soon. There are two different sizes a 1 oz. which is $60 a...

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Image
So I just took my last final exam yesterday which means, this semester is finally over! Although I hated business calculus II, it was a really good semester I have to say. I couldn't complain about any of it. I also have an awesome roommate which makes things a lot better. Well actually, it's not a dorm or anything, we live in an apartment together and have our own rooms. Anyway, she's a lot like me, studying the majority of the time and definitely easy to get along with. Now that the semester is over and I haven't been shopping in a while, I thought I'd buy myself a little present. I usually call it shop therapy, when I just need to relieve myself of stress and wander around a shop and spend way too much money but this time I knew exactly what I was shopping for, no wandering. Of course you probably already read the title; I bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I've always heard people raving about these naked palettes but I didn't understand bec...

Life Update: Where Have I Been?

Image
Final exams are next week *sigh. It kind of explains why I have been absent from blogging life for long while, I don't think it constitutes as an excuse though. If you didn't know already, I'm a junior in college so I have to start figuring out life; finally deciding on a major (and not changing it), a minor, internships, and what I will do after I get my undergrad degree. So what have I figured out so far? I have always known I was going to be a business major, even before I started college. My first major I declared was freshman year, General (Business) Management. I ended up changing it this semester to Finance. Thankfully, it isn't going to take any longer than the General Management degree would have. Kind of a side note so you understand… I plan on going to law school after this so I'm trying to find a major and minor that will prepare me for the LSAT and law school. I've been doing some studying and I've found that Economics and Philosophy majors ...

Chanel lipstick no. 99 Pirate

I am aware I haven't posted since October…oops. I didn't forget about you, I promise. Here it is, my first post of November. I am back and ready to get some good posts out for you all! If you have suggestions for posts that would help me out a lot! I'd love to hear what you have to say:) Recently, I went to a Chanel counter not looking for anything specific just felt like splurging on some high end makeup. Since I really didn't know what I wanted one of the ladies at the counter insisted she give me a mini makeover. It was a little more than a mini makeover though, I sat in her chair for an hour and a half while she played with makeup and showed me some of their skincare products. We ended up doing a dramatic look with a smoky eye and a red lip. It was actually the first time I've ever gotten my makeup done. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally saw my complete look. I've not put near that much makeup on in a long time to be honest. My makeup loo...

OOTD: Snakeskin Printed Sweater

Image
OOTD by hannahgomez featuring an ivory shawl Good morning lovelies! Today I have an OOTD for you. I actually wore this a few days ago, I'm just now getting around to posting it. The reason I wanted to show this to you was because of this snakeskin printed sweater from Old Navy. I don't think this picture does it justice but it's amazing. When I saw it in the store it was one of those things I knew I just couldn't leave without. Normally Old Navy doesn't have pieces that stand out to me. I usually walk in and out without purchasing anything. Anyway, I wore this sweater with some skinny jeans, my Steve Madden combat boots, an ivory scarf and some gold jewelry. In the collage I just added some random gold accessories that I thought looked nice, those aren't the exact pieces I wore. All of the links are below so you can easily find these pieces! Manicure Monday: Emerald Green

Image
I've been quite sick so I've had to stay in and just hope to get better soon. So while I was bored last night, I painted my nails this gorgeous jewel tone green. Although, I don't think the camera does it justice. I never thought I would be wearing green nail polish but there's just something about this color green that makes it seem non childish, more grown up and wearable. It's actually like a jade/emerald green. I didn't do a top coat so this is just two coats of the polish alone. I think I'll be buying more green polishes this fall/winter.  How do you feel about colors like these? Let me know in the comments section below! Posh by Revlon Of course these are simply my opinions, I will not be offended by anyone who disagrees with anything I say here on my blog. I love to hear what everyone has to say no matter what, of course still be nice.:) If you have any questions, comments or suggestions you know where to leave them:) Subscribe ...

Song Favorites of the Week

Image
I usually do a fashion pick of the week but I recently decided to do just a general favorite of the week from now on.  For example, this week I chose a song! It is called Stuck in a Moment by Sean Carter. It is one of my most favorite songs at the moment. Not just because Sean happens to be my uncle but he has really amazing music. He just put out an album on iTunes this year, in May. If you want to check that out the link is below. Buy his album on iTunes:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-telling/id634659578 There is also another song I love called Winter Song by Sean and Grant Pittman. The song is not on iTunes yet but the good news is, it's on YouTube! I've already got it here for you, all you have to do is click the play button.:) Where can you find Sean? Wet n Wild Product Reviews

Image
I have heard so many wonderful things about the Wet n Wild products but have not tried them until now. I really didn't want to try them because in the past I've had such bad luck with drugstore makeup brands breaking me out and I didn't feel like taking that risk. I recently did a swap with another blogger and she wanted to try some Wet n Wild products so I thought I'd get some for myself and see what the hype is all about. I picked up a shadow palette and two blushes from the Color Icon collection. I was so surprised at the quality of such an inexpensive makeup brand. It is literally the most pigmented eyeshadow and blush I have ever used. The colors are gorgeous as well! Eyeshadow palette-Comfort Zone My favorite thing about this palette is the neutral colors on the left side. I saw a makeup tutorial with a gorgeous eyeshadow look at the only shadows she was using were from this Wet n Wild palette so I was definitely sold when I saw that tutorial. I got th...
