Silky Smooth: Silk18 Shampoo

Since I started in the fitness industry my hair has suffered greatly. Not just my hair but my scalp, too. My regular products just weren't cutting it anymore. I shower and wash my hair so much more to protect it from the sweating and all at the same time I can dry out my skin and hair if I'm not too careful. I was on the lookout for new products when Maple Holistics reached out to me to inform me about their new Silk18 Shampoo. 

With clean beauty all the rage I hesitated on buying new products because I wasn't sure about what went into them. The average consumer is so much more aware of ingredients now that we are doing ur research. With Maple Holistics, I don't have to worry about that at all. The ingredients lists don't have things you can't pronounce which can definitely be scary. So many plus' about this brand I could go on and on. They are also cruelty free, have recycled packaging and naturally formulate their products, etc.

My initial worries about this product and with many other products was if it might make my hair oily. Naturally my hair gets oily in a short period of time. Especially with all the sweating and moving around that I do. After a little over 3 weeks of regular use I can safely say that my worries have gone. Honestly, this is one of the best of not the best shampoo I have ever used. I have color treated hair and it doesn't seem to effect my color in any way. 

The Silk18 Shampoo does everything it claims, even after me using it for an extended period of time. I've had some serious dandruff with all the crazy weather changes in Texas recently and this has helped so much. There is a little trick I learned....Leave your shampoo in a few minutes. How simple it that. We leave our conditioner in, why not shampoo? Well, now I do and it's a world of a difference. This trick is something that I learned from Tati Westbrook's YouTube videos but it was cool so see that tip in the description on the Maple Holistics website as well. Sort of a little confirmation that some tips are just THAT GOOD. 

One hundred percent recommend this shampoo. I'm interested in purchasing other products from their haircare line because of how great an experience I had with this product. They have so many options in haircare as well as oils! I'd highly recommend checking out their website for information on ingredients as well as their product range!
