Valentine's Cookie Recipe

Everyone loves baking Valentine's Day treats! (Even if you just make them to take pictures for the insta, guilty.)I found a plain sugar cookie recipe and altered it a little bit to make my own creation.  Just like my niece tells me when she's talking about dance class. "Just listen to what the teacher tells you and then freestyle."
Sugar Cookies with White Chocolate Chips
Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour3/4 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon baking powder1 cup (2 sticks) SALTED butter, softened1 1/4 cup granulated sugar1 egg and 1 yolk1 teaspoon vanilla extractwhite chocolate chipspink or red food coloring 1/4 cup granulated sugar, for rollingDirections: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
