I went to Las Vegas a couple weekends ago for work. I went to an expo where I did a lot of networking and also looked at new equipment and things like that. I got to go to some amazing restaurants and even did a little bit of shopping while I was there even though I only had a few days there. Night One: Edgy & Polished I had all my outfits planned out and when I got all of those outfit plans changed, of course. I switched some things up and came up with this outfit! My cold shoulder shirt is from Banana Republic. The material is heavy and feels expensive but not too warm to wear in spring or cooler summer day. I actually have TWO of these shirts. The other color I have is navy blue and it is gorgeous as well! I started off jotting things down in my notes section of my phone a while back but I wasn't consistent and I didn't feel like jotting down something electronically could possibly feel the same. I thought I'd go buy a journal and see what happened! I've never really kept a journal before but I thought now was a good time to start. I'm starting to find myself as a person and I feel like I am at a huge turning point in my life. I am a junior in college and I am just beginning a whole new chapter of life. Grade school is long gone and now I am able to live life, experience new things and hopefully I'll be able to study abroad before the end of my college career.  Just considering college life, it really has gone by faster than I ever would have imagined. I didn't really talk about New York too much so I thought I'd tell you some things that I loved while I was there! I've been twice and had two very different experiences whilst in NYC. The first time I went was in June 2011, in record high heat. The second time which was last week, it was so cold I was wearing clothing that I would normally take on a ski trip. What is Marie Belle? It is a small chocolate shop with a huge variety of chocolates! There were 6 different types of hot chocolate, if that gives you an idea. 2. What's in my bag? It's hard to sit on a plane for too long so I always make sure I have everything I could possibly need! I don't normally take makeup in my carry on so I don't have to throw it away for any reason. So I can look somewhat put together I wear tinted moisturizer and lipgloss on the plane and bring along the lip color or gloss that I am wearing. You really have to make sure you don't go over the liquid limit because they will make you throw it away! Below is a picture of all of my things that will be in my bag!
