Christmas Wish List 2016: Adidas, J Crew, Coach + More

Image
I hope everyone's holidays are merry and bright. Let me know in the comments section below what your favorite things about the holidays! I love how the holidays bring family together and also the cute winter fashion. I decided on this Christmas Wish List post so I can share with you guys what I've been loving. This year I have been really into pinks, berries and camel colored things.  I won’t explain everything but I’d just like to highlight some things on my wish list. Christmas Wish List 2016: Adidas, J Crew, Coach + More by hannahgomez Starting with the pink J Crew coat, I just want to say this is my DREAM COAT! I love the luxurious gold buttons, the texture and hint of pattern that the coat has. I enjoy longer coats like this one because they keep me warmer than a coat that hits at the waist, it really helps keep heat in.  Coach has really stepped up their handbag and accessory game. I saw that a fellow blogger had been w

Favorites of Twenty Sixteen

Image
I love reading about others' favorites so I thought I would share mine with you this year! I will show you my favorites in two different sections starting with fashion favorites. I have most of these things on here, if not exact, something pretty similar. From my little collage, you can see I have been a huge fan of suede, camel and grey colored things. I only have two of them but I have also been loving Hermes silk scarves. The one pictured above is not one that I have, but is definitely on the list to get in the future. They're pretty expensive but a nice splurge. I got my first one in Paris, France Charles de Gualle Airport In June 2014. My second one I got about a month ago from The RealReal . They have so many options of gently used luxury goods. it's the first time I have bought something pre-loved but I think it is such a great idea. I also bought my mom a beautiful silk scarf from The RealReal which she will be getting for Christmas. I'll definitely sta

Day to Night Makeup Transition: Vegas Edition

Image
Vegas is such a fun vacationing spot with so many things to do. I went to Vegas during spring break one year and I was constantly going somewhere or doing some fun activity. During the day we would go shopping, find fun eats and one day even took a limo to the Hoover Dam! At night we would dine and go to shows and magic performances or concerts.  You with so many things to do it can be hard to choose. If you go on Vegas.com  and check out their attractions and tours it'll help you plan out your trip and score you some awesome package deals ! People go to Vegas for either gambling or shows, I'm the kind of person who really enjoys the shows and other performances. My favorite part of Vegas was seeing Blue Man Group, I really wish I could have seen Cirque du Soleil as well. For my daily travels and touristy ventures, I chose a natural, glowy look. I don't like to wear too much makeup during the day. Inspiring my day-time look: I like to have some natural

Fashion Find For Less: Fendi Double Baguette

Image
Fashion Find For Less: Fendi Double Baguette by hannahgomez I love luxury bags but sometimes they are far too expensive to buy them and consistently keep up with the trends. I found some similar bags from COACH that reminded me of the Fendi Double Baguette Micro Bag. I chose two Coach bags because of the style differences. If you love the small micro bag shape then the COACH crossbody for $169 is right for you. The top handle satchel is also pretty small  and also has a long strap but will fit a lot more and has a more structured feel. The flowers on the Coach top handle stand out more to me like the Fendi bag. It doesn't show in the picture but the Fendi bag also has a long strap. It really depends on what you are going for. I have the links provided below if you are interested in purchasing any of the three bags I talked about in this post! Just click on the photo of the bag you'd like to check out and it will direct you to the corresponding site.

Make Date Night Fun Again: Four Date Ideas

Image
I'm single now, but when I am dating I like to look for unique date night ideas to keep things fun and interesting. I love having routine nights out or weekend plans, but trying new things can help you bond and grow with your partner. Here are some of my ideas on how to amp up your dates or just give you new and fresh ideas! I've not gone hiking or backpacking with a lover but recently I went on an overnight hike with a close male friend and had such a great time. It would be even more fun with a significant other, I think. It was my first time doing something so adventurous. I'm outdoorsy but before this trip, I have never slept in a tent outside other than an Indian Princesses [girl version of Boy Scouts] camping trip with some girls and all of our dads when we were all in the second grade.  My friend that I went on the overnight trip with has done it multiple times before, for even longer periods of time so it was a fun experience. I learned a lot about

Beach Day Musts: 2016

Image
It's that time again, beachy hair and salty air! I was inspired to share with you my beach day must haves by Adore Me with their #BeachDayMusts conversation. I could make this list pretty long because I have a lot of favorites but I'm going to share my top 5 musts and then a few things that are enjoyable to have. When I think of a beach day I'm thinking a lot about my skin and what it takes to keep my skin healthy, happy and glowing.  1: Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse This is something that I fell in love with in 2014. I came across it on my study abroad trip while in a French pharmacy. It keeps my skin soft and smooth without being oily, and it dries fast! There are two different kinds as pictured, one with and another without glitter. Before you hate on the sparkle one, I love it! It's worth a try.  2: Swim Cover-up Swim cover-ups are really important. They keep your shoulders and arms from burning when you're not in the water. I like to wear linen or cotton dresses so I

Conceal Me - My Take on Concelaers

Image
Concealers, where do I start? Tips, tricks, rules, colors, brands... etc. It can be challenging to find the right concealer but have faith! Into the Gloss's article on best concealers inspired me to write a post on my favorite concealers. I know my post is shorter than normal but I wanted to share only my most important points and not make it too complicated, I think you'll have a great takeaway.   (1) Brands (a) Chanel- Correcteur Perfection can be used under your eyes and to cover blemishes. (b) YSL- Touche Eclat is more of a highlighter to highlight areas on your face and brighten your eyes. I wouldn't cover spots with this. (c) Revlon- photo ready concealer stick (d) Kevyn Aucoin- Sensual Skin Enhancer comes in a pot. This is the only one I haven't used before but has great reviews and a huge color range for all skin tones! It is water proof and all-in-one, it sounds like a dream! **(a) bottom right (b) bottom left (c) top right (d) top left**

Spring Break Swimsuit Picks 2016

Image
Spring break 2016 is here!! I know that looking for the perfect swimsuit for spring break takes some good searching. I thought I'd save you a little (a lot) of time and do some of that searching for you. :) If anything, I hope this at least brings you some inspiration when looking for a swimsuit. (1) Floral Girls I stumbled on this bikini on instagram. I saw a girl wearing it and instantly fell in love. If flowers are your thing then this is for you! And the ruched bottoms will accentuate your assets. I'll probably end up buying the bottoms and wear a plain white top with it. The ruffles are a lot going on for me because I'm a 32-34DD but for a smaller bust the ruffles on the top would be great! Buy here: https://www.jaymes.com.au/search.php?search_query=bloom&search= (2) Sporty- chic You don't necessarily have to call this sporty, it's just what I thought when I found these suits. They are in the 2016 Vitamin A Catamaran Stripe
