Do you have a problem with your face being lighter than the rest of your body in the summer? I do! For the longest time I found it was just easiest to put makeup on to make my face match my body. I heard the Jergens gradual face tanner was good, so I tried that, but didn't like it. It didn't even tan my face and I didn't like the smell. Somehow, I ran into this Shiseido Men Moisturizing Self-Tanner while I was in TJ Maxx, and I ended up loving it. It is really hydrating and gives me a nice sun-kissed glow. Using it a few times a week keeps my face the same color as my body! It doesn't get splotchy or uneven when you wash your face! It doesn't rub off on clothing or come off when you get wet so you won't have to worry about fake tan rubbing off your face onto something else. I'm really uncoordinated but I wanted to do a fun manicure post for you! So today I did a half moon manicure. I'm not sure how I managed to get them all done decently, but I did it! I use Penny Talk and Licorice, both by Essie. Penny Talk is actually less gold and more of a coppery color.  First I used Penny Talk and let that dry for 25-30 minutes. (It is really important that you let your nails dry! You will see why in the next step.) After I let them dry for 25-30 minutes I cut some tape and used it to make my half moon. To make sure they are the same exact size you could use those reinforcement tabs. It would probably have been much easier and faster to use the tabs but I didn't have any of those around. I then used the black polish on the rest of my nail around the tape. I find that it sort of flakes when I peel the tape off after the polish has dried so I like to peel it off about 20 seconds after I paint it so that there is a smooth line. The pi...

I think it's really important to protect your skin from the sun and learn that going out in the sun is okay but don't sit and bake for hours on end. It's not only dangerous but speeds up the aging process! This is my very first Face of the Day post! I've seen a few other bloggers do it so I thought I would try something new!   First is my Soleil Tan De Chanel bronzer. This is amazing and I've been using it everyday since I got it  a few months ago. The texture is different than any other bronzer I have seen before. It looks really natural and gives me a nice glow. Next is my blush. I've also been using this a while and have mentioned it in previous posts but I really love it and it is perfect for my skin tone. Now this is something very new for me. I have heard people rave about it so I caved and bought it. It is Albatross by Nars. I've not used many highlighters before so I can't compare it to much but I really like it so far. It looks really white at first but when you look closely there is really finely milled gold glitter in it. I decided I needed to paint my nails this fine Friday morning. I posted a picture early this morning on instagram! You can find the link to my instagram below! :) I used a light pink and then a metallic color for my fourth fingers. I'm not very coordinated so I stick to this one accent nail but maybe I'll do some more fun stuff for you guys soon! The pink is called Selena from the Selena Gomez Collection from Nicole by Opi. The metallic color is Penny Talk by Essie.
