One Year Blog Anniversary!

Ok guys, I know I've almost completely abandoned my blog for the past few months and didn't post at all last month:( but I think I can still say I've blogged for basically an entire year. Posts have gotten sparse but I did it. I made this crazy goal last March (March 2nd was my first blog post to be exact) to blog for at least a year and I've accomplished that goal. It would be great if I could start blogging again about health, beauty and just life stuff but I can't promise anything. I'm in my second semester as a junior in college so I only have one more year left and things are getting a bit crazy. It's insane how fast time goes by. Never fear, I still have three years of law school after this. hah so I'm basically only half way through my college career. If you didn't know I'm a finance major and will be minoring in philosophy as well. I plan to go into intellectual property in law school but I still have a little time to make that decision...

My Year in a Nutshell- Happy New Year!

Image
I'm just going to start off by saying, 2013 was an amazing year! Literally the best year of my life. My middle school and high school years were an awful experience for me (finished hs May 2011) and it took a little over a year to recover from that time in my life. I would say about July 2012 is when I started to actually enjoy life, I'd just finished my first year of college and knew that was a turning point in my life. I'm gladly telling you this because you should know that it gets better! My highest mountain of success was not high school and I'm very thankful for that.  I'm glad to say high school years were not my peak years, my best years are not behind me, I'm just starting to have the best time of my life. So what has 2013 exactly consisted of? REWIND…….GO! January I began 2013 in Colorado. which was amazing. Although I broke my tailbone, I learned how to snowboard…kinda. March First, I bought a camera. I was already nervous about buyi...

Merry Christmas!

Image
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holidays. I went to the mall yesterday, (the day before Christmas Eve) and it was CRAZY! There were people everywhere. I didn't know why I thought it could be a quick mall trip. It took like 4 hours and all I really did was go to the Jo Malone Counter and into the Lush store.  I've been hearing a lot about the Jo Malone fragrances so I thought I'd get myself one for Christmas. I ended up getting the Peony and Blush Suede Cologne which is a floral scent. If you read my blog regularly, you know florals are my thing (Yes, even in the winter.) Do you have any Jo Malone fragrances? I had a hard time choosing which cologne I was going to get. The idea with the Jo Malone fragrances are that you can layer them, which is amazing and a little addicting. I only bought one cologne but I'm sure I'll end up getting another one sometime soon. There are two different sizes a 1 oz. which is $60 a...

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Image
So I just took my last final exam yesterday which means, this semester is finally over! Although I hated business calculus II, it was a really good semester I have to say. I couldn't complain about any of it. I also have an awesome roommate which makes things a lot better. Well actually, it's not a dorm or anything, we live in an apartment together and have our own rooms. Anyway, she's a lot like me, studying the majority of the time and definitely easy to get along with. Now that the semester is over and I haven't been shopping in a while, I thought I'd buy myself a little present. I usually call it shop therapy, when I just need to relieve myself of stress and wander around a shop and spend way too much money but this time I knew exactly what I was shopping for, no wandering. Of course you probably already read the title; I bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I've always heard people raving about these naked palettes but I didn't understand bec...

Life Update: Where Have I Been?

Image
Final exams are next week *sigh. It kind of explains why I have been absent from blogging life for long while, I don't think it constitutes as an excuse though. If you didn't know already, I'm a junior in college so I have to start figuring out life; finally deciding on a major (and not changing it), a minor, internships, and what I will do after I get my undergrad degree. So what have I figured out so far? I have always known I was going to be a business major, even before I started college. My first major I declared was freshman year, General (Business) Management. I ended up changing it this semester to Finance. Thankfully, it isn't going to take any longer than the General Management degree would have. Kind of a side note so you understand… I plan on going to law school after this so I'm trying to find a major and minor that will prepare me for the LSAT and law school. I've been doing some studying and I've found that Economics and Philosophy majors ...

Chanel lipstick no. 99 Pirate

I am aware I haven't posted since October…oops. I didn't forget about you, I promise. Here it is, my first post of November. I am back and ready to get some good posts out for you all! If you have suggestions for posts that would help me out a lot! I'd love to hear what you have to say:) Recently, I went to a Chanel counter not looking for anything specific just felt like splurging on some high end makeup. Since I really didn't know what I wanted one of the ladies at the counter insisted she give me a mini makeover. It was a little more than a mini makeover though, I sat in her chair for an hour and a half while she played with makeup and showed me some of their skincare products. We ended up doing a dramatic look with a smoky eye and a red lip. It was actually the first time I've ever gotten my makeup done. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally saw my complete look. I've not put near that much makeup on in a long time to be honest. My makeup loo...
