Christian Dior Rouge Favori 752
So on my facebook page and on twitter I told you I went to go look for a red lipstick yesterday! I was searching for the perfect red lipstick because I am going to the Taylor Swift concert and somehow I didn't own one good, red, lipstick.
I looked at lots and thought I'd end up getting Ruby Woo by Mac but didn't like it at all. So I tried Mac Red and Russian Red, I liked those a little more but ended up wandering to the more expensive counters in Nordstrom and choosing Rouge Favori by Dior. It is a blue based red which seemed to be the best for my skin tone. If you go to any makeup counter and just ask they can really help you find the perfect products for your skin tone and type. It was really expensive but I liked it so much more than the other ones I tried!
It really was the best red lipstick I have ever seen. It is one of the more matte lipsticks that they have but surprisingly not drying at all! It is so pigmented and creamy. After I photographed it, I put it on and it has a wonderful kind of floral scent as you're applying it. I wore it today and it lasted a good 5 hours and through lunch and after that I reapplied. The expensive makeup I have bought so far I've been really happy with. It has made me realize, you get what you pay for.

DeleteHannah, I adore red lipstick and, like you, have always had trouble finding the "right" one. The lipstick you chose is very much like the one that I wear. I think the blue in it is the ingredient that makes it so beautiful.
