DIY: Apartment Art

This one kind of explains itself. You'll need a picture frame, some card stock and lipstick! Seriously it's that easy. I already had tons of lipstick so all I had to buy was the picture frame. This is a photo collage inspired by Bethany Mota. She has a YouTube channel where she talks about beauty, fashion and everything in between. I'll leave her photo collage video at the end of this post. This is such a fun way to decorate your room because it's really personalized. I used photos of my family and I, and other photographs I've taken while on trips.

For this project you just need some photos and tape! I didn't follow any certain pattern or anything, I just started making a shape of a heart with some photos. You want to lay them out on the floor before you start taping them to the wall so that you can get everything in the right place. I don't have a picture of that step but you've got the gist. After you've gotten everything in the right place you can start taping it up on the wall.

Wedding Guest Dress Guide Spring/Summer 2013

You'll be able to go about finding the perfect dress when you find out the time, location, weather, and style specifications (should be on invitation). If it is outdoors it's probably pretty casual. Be mindful of the fabric so that you don't look too formal. The invitation usually specifies what style is expected of the guests. If not, assume semi-formal so that you are safe. Don't ever dress to compete, after all, it is not your day. Please, don't wear something that looks like you are going to prom, or a club. The most important thing to remember, never wear white! Even though it is necessary to tone it down you can still look great. If you want to look like a million bucks but don't have much to spend, think about renting. Fashion Pick of the Week: Polka Dot & Floral Peplum Top

I know this post is late but I had to wait to find the perfect pick of the week. This week I picked a peplum top! It is different than the peplum tops I've seen before. This one is more casual and not so structured and dressy. Don't get me wrong, you could make this dressy but the structure of it allows for the top to be casual as well. This would be perfect to add to your back to school wardrobe if you're going to be back in school in the fall. I found this online at Forever 21 for $17.80. The direct link will be below the photos.
