Men's Fall Fashion 2013

Today I'm starting something new! I'm going to start a "For Him" section on my blog. I'm not quite sure how this will work out exactly but a few people have suggested this to me so I thought I'd give it a try. If you have any suggestions for these type of posts let me know in the comments section below!:)

For my first post I thought I'd start with some fall fashion. I got my inspiration for this post from my brother, cousins, Pinterest and some other research. This will just be like an overall fashion post mostly about colors to look for when you're shopping and how to transition from summer to fall time! Let me know what you think!

It isn't too cold yet so you don't want to go overboard with layers in the beginning of fall. These first two photos are from the runway but I'll show you how to translate it into a more wearable look. You might be asking yourself, "blue? Isn't that more of a spring color?" On the runways there has been lots of lighter blues and periwinkles. The blues will take place of the traditional neutral shades this season.

This is how I would translate the runway looks to an everyday look transitioning from summer into the fall time. When it gets cooler you might look for a lighter blue coat instead of the traditional navy blue.

This season is all about grey. Don't let the super trendy picture on the left scare you, it is a runway photo. I just wanted to point out what exactly I've seen on the runway. The photo on the right is definitely more subtle and wearable. I really love this cozy, speckled grey colored sweater.

Claret, it's literally one of my most favorite colors, ever! If you're a color professional and what I'm about to say isn't correct, please feel free to inform me, nicely. I think this 'claret' color is what we called oxblood last year. The photo on the left is from the runway. Remember, for this purpose we are only looking at the color (I know nobody will wear this in real life). The photo on the right and and the bottom are both good ways to incorporate this color into your wardrobe. Adding a cardigan is a great way to transition into the cooler months.

It would really help me if you left comments below and let me know what you think about this post.
Hope you're having an amazing week:)
Lots of love,

Hannah
