Everyday Makeup by hgomez featuring Chanel

I know this looks like a lot of makeup on my collage, but really, it's not. I wanted to include the brushes so you know what I use to apply my makeup with. On the right hand corner I added Estee Lauder toning lotion. I've been using this for a couple weeks now and I love it. I use it after I wash my face before moisturizer and my makeup goes on beautifully. I bought this toner because it doesn't have alcohol in it! The alcohol in regular toners is what causes those acne scars.

Now I'll take you through my makeup routine.

First I apply the double wear foundation and pat it on, not swipe across my face. It is a little time consuming but looks amazing after you are finished. Less is definitely more with this foundation. I love that it is a matte finish because I have really oily skin. I really love this makeup because it stays in place all day long, meaning a 12-hour day. Even though it has great coverage, I can still see my freckles through it so it doesn't look fake. It takes a few minutes to dry but the translucent powder helps it dry faster. I use a regular powder brush with this, not the sponge that comes with it. I always wear a bronzer and recently found the best one ever! It is on the top right and is called Soleil Tan De Chanel. Next I use the Guerlain Meteorites Pearls, I sweep it across the areas the light would hit. Next I use a blush, I use more pinky tones in winter and spring and more peachy colored ones in summer to give me a nice glow. For eyes I use Mary Kay cream eye shadow beach blonde on my eyelids and the corners of my eyes to make me look more awake. Sometimes I used MK iced cocoa in the crease for more depth. For mascara I use Lancome Hypnose, first do your bottom lashes, then the top. Just try it! Last but not least, lips! Always have moisturized lips, the best I've found so far is by Josie Maran. You'll fall in love. Put it on once and your lips will be moisturized all day long! Phew! got it all?
